What are wisdom teeth?
A wisdom tooth is any of the usually four third molars. Wisdom teeth usually appear between the ages of 15 and 25. Most adults have four wisdom teeth, but it is possible to have more. Wisdom teeth commonly affect other teeth as they develop, becoming impacted or "coming in sideways". They are often extracted when this occurs. At Stein Oral & Facial Surgery we remove wisdom teeth almost every day. It is usually best to remove these teeth as quickly as possible before they cause any other problems. Are your dental benefits maxed out?
Its seems like at this time every year everyone is trying to max out their dental benefits. Did you know that some dental plans do not run on January to January? Some plans run April to April or May to May. It is always a good idea to be well informed about your specific dental plan, that way you are always using your dental benefit to your advantage.

Dental Insurance
Stein Oral & Facial Surgery is proud to announce that we are now in-network with Cigna and Delta Dental Premier! Being In-Network with an insurance company means we are to accept their terms of allowable charges, payments, etc. This usually means the benefits will be slightly better than being Out-of-Network with an insurance company. Being Out-of-Network does not mean there won’t be benefits available to you, as long as your plan is a PPO you will still have benefits and our office will do our best to maximize them for you. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns regarding your insurance coverage! 303-791-3232

Happy Thanksgiving!
History of Thanksgiving: In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. It wasn't until 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November.
All of us at Stein Oral & Facial Surgery would like to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
